2009 NBA FINALS – First Game
The 2009 NBA Finals First Game finally started with a bang! at the Los Angeles Lakers Staples Center. Kobe Bryant and his Lakers team during the first quarter seemed quite uneasy as they trailed the Orlando Magic powered by their “Superman” center Dwight Howard and their sweet shooting star from Turkey, Turkolub. Kobe made only 3 of his 9 attampts during the first quarter while Turkolub finished with 9 points.
During the second quarter, Kobe Bryant’s shooting touch begun to hum as he made a total of 18 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds. Meanwhile the much vaunted “Superman” center Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic was limited to a minimum of rebounds and points made as the LA Lakers defense clipped his upper body strength from dunking the basketball as he was able to do over and over again with Lebron’s Cavs. Halftime of the 2009 NBA Finals First Game saw the LA Lakers finishing with 53 points against the Magic’s 43 points.

The seond half of the 2009 NBA Finals First Game was all Kobe Bryant’s sterling performance as he added 22 more points to wallop the Magic by amassing the highest score ever in an NBA Finals at 40 points. The excitement that was very palpable during the first and even the second quarters of the 2009 NBA Finals First Game soon turned to a one- sided game with the Orlando Magic having a final score of 75 compared to the 100 final score of the LA LAkers.
Many viewers who watched the Game Live in this site through a Link, were so disheartened by the loop sided results of the 2009 NBA Finals First Game. I just hope comes Sunday, when they will again met for the Second Game, the battle for the 2009 NBA Finals Second Game would be a closer fight.
